Application for treatment / procedure
The patient’s application is sent via our web site or requested by a phone call and is received by the AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC Patient Information Center. Our advisors are trained to answer general questions about the procedures and terms of the service. If the patient has questions related to medical issues, the advisor will pass the questions on to the professional to answer.
Estimate / Quotation
The amount charged by AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC in the first stage is an estimate. It is important to remember that the original estimate may be slightly modified after the personal evaluation is carried out by the doctor, once you have arrived in Beirut. All exchanges made with the Patient Information Center are free of charge and does not represent any kind of agreement between AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC and the patient.
Items included in the quotation
A quotation for a standard medical trip includes the fees for the medical team, pre surgical studies, treatment fees and assistance service. In some cases, other items may be included (they vary according to the treatment). All the items will be presented in detail in the quote that is given to you.
The quote does not include:
a) Airline tickets
b) Accommodation
c) Medications, whether related to the treatment or not
Reservations
Once the date for the trip and all the details concerning the medical services have been agreed upon, you will have to make a payment of 30% of the package's total medical cost via BANK TRANSFER or Western union.
The treatment agenda will be fixed.
Unforeseen complications
If the compulsory medical studies show that the patient suffers from a preexisting condition or disease that may interfere with the procedure but of which the patient has no previous knowledge:
a) The patient will be informed about their medical condition and about the possible consequences the procedure will have on their health,
b) The patient will have to pay a deposit (apart from the package) that will be used for specific analysis or for hiring specialized medical staff,
c) The deposit will be reimbursed to the patient if no extra services related to their preexisting condition are needed.
AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC will not perform any procedure that might have negative effects on the patient's health without discussing this with the patient and taking all the necessary precautions.
Confirmation of the dates:
AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC will confirm by e-mail the consultation and treatment dates minimum 15 days before departure. The dates will be assigned according to availability.
Arrival in BEIRUT
The patient will arrive at the RAFIC HARIRI BEIRUT INTERNATIONAL Airport (BEY). An assistant will meet the patient and take them to their hotel where they will be staying. The patient will be given a file in which they will find their schedule, as well as detailed documentation about the procedures.
First consultation
After the first consultation with the physician, the date, time and the cost of the treatment will be confirmed. If on the first consultation the need for additional procedures arises, AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC will prepare a new quotation.
Follow-up
After the procedure, the physician will set appointments for the follow-up care and will inform the patient about the special precautions they will have to take when they return home.
Departure
The patient will be taken to the airport by an assistant on the day of their departure.
After the trip AESTHETIC SMILE CLINIC will get in touch with the patient to check on their health and well-being.
Cancellation policy
In order to provide good service to all our patients, we must make reservations in advance, for both the professionals involved and the facilities that will be needed. Therefore, the deposit (30% of the package’s total medical cost) will not be refunded under any circumstances. Cancellation of the trip before traveling If the patient decides to cancel the trip after having paid the deposit, the deposit (30% of the package’s total medical cost) will not be refunded under any circumstances. However, the patient may use the amount as a credit. This credit will expire 6 months after the deposit is made.
Payment transfer to a third party
A patient, who has cancelled the trip after having made a payment, may transfer the money to a third party. In order to do this, the patient must state the recipient’s personal information and the treatment this person wishes to undergo.
The new patient will be given a new quote. The deposit made by the original patient will be deducted from the total cost.
